Penny DEL

The German Ice Hockey League (Penny DEL) is the highest division in German ice hockey. When it was founded in 1994, it was the first German professional league whose games were run by an operating company and whose clubs outsourced their professional teams to corporations. The record champion of the DEL is the Eisbären Berlin with nine German championships. The DEL's office, known as the league office, is located in Neuss.
